Tangent to his duties as a licensed architect in the state of Texas to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public, Bryan Waters has developed a zeal for community service. Recognizing the need for service in the black community, Mr. Waters has served for over a decade as a mentor for inner-city youths in collaboration with his church, and alongside the Caring Aggies Mentoring Program. As a follower of Jesus Christ, Mr. Waters was attracted to the biblically-based goals of The Say Yes Sir Initiative and believes in its potential to do great work in service to God.
Bryan has an appreciation for art and believes in its ability to reflect and uplift societies. He enjoys discussions on history, faith, and politics (the latter two being taboo in most social circles), and enjoys adventurous outdoor activities. Bryan has strong family values, believing that strong families make strong communities, and enjoys spending time with his wife (Meagan Waters – mentioned above) and other family members.
Mr. Waters graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a B.S. in Architecture. He received a Master’s degree in architecture from Texas A&M University, and has helped to design hospitals across the nation. Mr. Waters is currently in pursuit of a Ph.D. in Architecture from Texas A&M.
