Cedrick A. Bates is a Medical Sales Leader and Healthcare Consultant. He works in the Texas Medical Center and for several organizations abroad. He has worked with several pioneering institutions including the Houston Methodist Hospital System and McKesson Corporation.
Cedrick earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Texas A&M University. In addition to his service with Say Yes Sir, he serves on the Alumni Board of Directors for the Texas A&M School of Public Health, the Board of Directors for the United States Selective Service, and he is the Board Chair for Kingdom Health. He is also the Founder and Bandleader for Houston Groove Society.
Cedrick is very passionate about Health Equity, Healthcare Access, Real Estate Investment, Social Epigenomics, Health Policy Reform, and Music Education. Cedrick lives in Southwest Houston with his wife Marcia Bates and their children. Cedrick is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He also holds membership in the National Sales Network, National Black MBA Association, HAULYP, the Greater Houston Black Chamber (HBLI Class VI), and the National Association of Health Service Executives.
