Meagan Waters is a high school science teacher who enjoys pouring life and hope into the at-risk population she serves. She is committed to the mission of “Say Yes Sir” and excited to see how God will use this organization to promote health and healing among disadvantaged communities. Her passion for photography and video content creation has aided in her pursuit of enlightenment of future generations. She is the creator of an educational series entitled “What Do You Do and How’d You Get There” or #GetThereEDU for short. The web show seeks to illuminate the path to success from experienced black and brown leaders of their various crafts to future professionals who need guidance on their career journey.
Meagan is a proud graduate of Texas Southern University and a member of the first greek-lettered service organization for black women, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She enjoys a good game of basketball, planning family reunions, reading and writing, documentaries, karaoke, game nights, and riding bikes. Spending time with her husband, family, and friends brings her great joy. Her relationship with her heavenly father is most important to Meagan and she ultimately hopes that her life can be a light to others.
